DeeDee, the Greyhound, Finds a Family continues the ongoing saga of DeeDee, a racing greyhound. DeeDee had failed as a racer at the puppy farm where she had been born. There was talk of her being "taken away," but it turned out that "being taken away" was the beginning of something wonderful for her. She and her two friends were re-trained, and were taken to a place where they could be adopted. In DeeDee's case, wishing did make it so, as she found herself very much a part of a loving family.

DeeDee, the Greyhound, and those Darned Cats takes us once again into the life of DeeDee, a (former) racing greyhound. DeeDee is learning that life outside the world of greyhound racing is nothing like the life she'd come to know at the race track. In this installment, DeeDee learns what life is like as the only dog in a house with two "darned cats".

DeeDee, the Greyhound, and the Grandma Lady
DeeDee, the Greyhound, and the Grandma Lady concludes the tale of DeeDee, the one-time racing greyhound. We first met The Grandma Lady, when she came to stay with DeeDee and the "darned cats", in the third book in this series. This wonderful tale takes us along on several such occasions, including a visit to the Grandma Lady's house on the lake. The final chapter in the DeeDee saga explores the bond between a greyhound that never won a race, and a special Lady that helped her realize that there were other ways to be "Number One".
Peg has also written two non-fiction books. The first, "How Did We Get Here From There?" was written in 1999. It is a first-hand account of the first 78 years of her life, and details the many people, places, and things that have impacted her life.
